Join HMS Members for a fascinating look at how the United States used posters as a method to promote public morale though public service.
On April 18, 2018, at 5:00 pm, Susan Wheeler, Curator, Prints and Drawings and Historical Medical Posters at the Yale Medical History Library, will share unique posters from WWI that were used to modify the public’s actions and behaviors through posters.
The event includes dinner and will be held at the Town & County Club in Hartford. Drinks are available through a cash bar. Convenient parking is available.
Members may bring guests with them for free, although we ask members to pay $20 to join us that evening. Non-members may come for $35. All are welcome!
