Doctors Are Human Too

April 6, 2022 @ 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Emanuel - Stage Kit_LH

Provocative, Enlightening Dialogue with Dr. Ezekiel Emanuel at the Bushnell

A night of interactive and provocative discussion with one of the leading practitioners shaping the future of healthcare.

Join the Hartford Medical Society for an interactive and provocative discussion with Dr. Ezekiel Emanuel, one of the leading practitioners shaping the future of healthcare.

Speaking of that future, does it include happy providers? With mounting stressors and prevalent burnout across the medical professions, we seem to be getting further away from career satisfaction.

Might the remedy be camaraderie and connection among healthcare professionals? Older generations recall having meals in private hospital dining rooms where conversation spanned all realms, from professional to personal, and true community formed. What else might solve the problem of physician burnout? What can we do today to bring joy back to medicine? Dr. Emanuel will offer his unique and thought-provoking perspectives while leaving plenty of time for questions and engagement from the audience.
